DO NOT BUY, Fake product, will burn out in 2-6 months This item is a knockoff and will burn out after about 3 months just as others have said. Make sure you get a FSP from a legitimate dealer, it will cost a little more but you won’t have to replace it after 3 months. This company should be banned from Amazon for their blatant scam.

WASTED MONEY!!! BEWARE! Purchase July 2011 and element fried December 2011. Contacted seller about such a short lived item with no response whatsoever. Am now worried about the fuse combo as well, are they working properly? Will they keep the dryer from overheating and burning up my house? So buyer beware, best to purchase a FSP/Whirlpool original heating element vs. wasting you money and having to replace again in 5 months. Just don’t understand why seller’s peddle such junk knowing the product is garbage!

R. Okarski "SeaZephyr" says:

Failed after only a day I was initially pretty happy with this item, as it was inexpensive, arrived swiftly and installed quite easily and I got my dryer up and running very quickly. I was very excited at first. Then the very next day the thing conked out on me, and I know I installed it properly, cleared away any lint etc, so I definitely cannot recommend this item to anyone and can only recommend that you get the more expensive OEM part. I guess this proves the old adage “You get what you pay for”.
